The Sin of Bil'am

Bi'lam could not curse the people whom YAH had blessed—but he still found another way to bring destruction upon Israel.

In this teaching, we examine the account of Bi'lam in Numbers 22–25 and follow its message into 2 Peter, Jude, and Revelation to understand why the Second Writings repeatedly warns believers about "the way of Bi'lam."

What was Bi'lam's true sin? Was it simply greed? False prophecy? Or was it a heart willing to compromise for personal gain?

In this study, you'll discover:
• Why Bi'lam could not curse those whom YAH had blessed
• The significance of the talking donkey and the messenger of YAH
• How greed blinded a man who claimed to hear from Elohim     • What "the way of Bi'lam" means for believers today
• How false teachers continue to use the same tactics warned about in Scripture
• Why obedience preserves the blessing that YAH desires for His people

Bi'lam's story is more than an account from Israel's history—it's a warning for every generation. May this teaching encourage you to walk in discernment, reject compromise, and remain obedient to the calling that YAH has placed on your life.
